That above is a picture of glitter.
I love. Glitter.
I love make-up.
I love…glittery make-up.
Therefore, that picture is lovelovelovelovelove.
So, last night I was talking to Eli and Kristy, and I totally fell asleep at like 8:30…woke up at 11:59, and then at six this morning. I feel incredible! Was reading about how Americans don’t want Obama in office again because he isn’t as God-fearing as others. Honestly though, who cares? Why does it matter if Obama is not a Christian? What difference does it make if he is? God has nothing to do with what our policy makers decide. What does is what the people want, and what America needs in order to flourish. The latter is more important than the wants of the people. So if someone is going to get butt-hurt because one doesn’t believe in God, or supports gay marriage, or wants to end bullying…then let them. I mean, honestly. Kids die every day from suicide. Suffer from abuse, depression…Obama’s concerns might need to be more on America as a whole, but the guy isn’t bad. He’s taking a new approach to society, and that’s to be respected.
So that’s my opinion on that…
I’m looking up colleges, writing, and at some point, going to take a shower. I’m supposed to be hanging out with a sophomore today, a girl named Tiffany. Is it weird that I’m hanging with a sophomore? Probably.
I’m going to be writing more to Lithium Chrysalis, a futuristic thriller. Want to read the synopsis?(:
Chaos. That is what the world as been thrown into. The old world, wasted away; the new world, barely beginning.
Thrust into the hands of children. That is what our world has come to. With the world wasted away, and the Future in chaos, the only redeemers of our race lies within the bodies of three teens, Evelyn, Mattias, and Thames. Childhood friends once upon a time before the Past was eradicated, memories wiped as the Future opposed upon them is inevitable, Evelyn, Matthias, and Thames will have to seek out the ones who can help them save their world. Or perish by the hands of Evelyn’s deranged father, and watch as he controls the World.
Here lies another box for nature,
Carbon ready;
Black to eyes down here,
Where death is at its job.Up there you’ll hear a rhythmic sob
Or two from living yet-to-dies –
A humming lacrimoso –
It all but cleans the eyes:Forget it –
The dismal show of grief –
Life is only chemistry –
Our stay is only brief.
It’s we who hype it up!Diaphragms jerk again;
The jet monotone of hearses
Feeds the disingenuousness
Of undertakers –
They seem to stare at something up ahead –
For them, it’s in the blood,
To taxi off the dead.
It’s like a lullaby on the process of death. I really like it. I like the first stanza and how Mr. Slaughter writes the description of the casket. And then from there he writes the grief, and it leads to the last stanza, where he is basically saying, “This is life. It happens.” My quote of the day is
The moment you want a cigarette, then remember you smoked your last one.—Me
I figured that to be a good lesson of life.:)
While Eli and I were talking last night, I told him about how I applied to the University of Utah. I told him how I didn’t necessarily want to stay in Utah, but I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go. I feel bad that I want to leave, but nothing is really holding me back anymore. Not even Tyler, but that’s because we never talk anymore.
Anyway, Eli told me that I should check out Mississippi. He lives in Mississippi, so he’s being biased, but I told him I would, and I mean it. So far on my list of potential places was New Hampshire, Washington, Nebraska, United Kingdom (ha), and here, Utah. I decided to add Mississippi to that list, and I’m gonna consider it. I’d be closer to my mom. And not only that, I love the mid-west. I was raised there.
So, people, it is now time for me to look at colleges and shit. Know what you should do. Reblog, heart, and follow~
Please and thank you?
